Soul Shard Bag

This magic item is exceedingly useful to an advanced necromantic practitioner. It allows them to collect and store soul shards for later use. When a human being suffers a traumatic event in their life, a small part of their soul fissions off and is left behind. This is part of the process known as soul loss a magical illness known to some shamanistic religions. A person who experiences enough trauma gradually becomes more apathetic and listless, eventually becoming what is called a Hollow Man/Woman. Shamans treat this by undergoing a spirit journey to retrieve the soul shard and then reunite it with the owner.

However an advanced necromantic practitioner can learn how to use these soul shards to their advantage. One way is to graft a number of soul shards into a complete chimeric soul. This can then be used for crafting, energy, spirit bargaining, etc. Another way is to graft the soul shard to a spirit being which does not normally possess a soul, thus allowing it to experience mortality. Yet another is to graft the soul shard to oneself which if compatible can accelerate spiritual ascension and growth. There are still more uses but this is not the point of this post.

To make the soul shard bag simply take a black drawstring bag and place within a magically charged piece of onyx. Then the bag should be taken into a burial site and exposed to the energies at such a location. To use it carry it with you and simply open it at accident sites, crime scenes, locations where violent sports are played, or at hospitals. The soul shards left behind at such sites will be drawn into the stone within and will remain there until utilised.

One important thing to note is that actually being able to use the souls within is something that unfortunately many practitioners will never be able to do. This is do to the fact that many spiritual entities including certain deific beings do not allow just anyone to mess around with souls. It usually requires patronage and permission from such beings and usually comes with stringent rulesets.

i don't really like deltarune sans much either lmao, it's like i said once: he's not sans undertale YET. he needs to lose everything he has before he gets to have even a sliver of the presence and love i have for him in undertale. he gets a couple of pretty fun gags in DR, and with the next chapter dealing with bitter jealousy according to gerson (it's not a coincidence soriel got #confirmed at the end of chapter 4 when asgore's been Like That), it's possible he might get a bigger role going forward. which i have to say feels really fucking weird tbh, but I'll let toby and the team cook.

thinking of little omi wanting a dog but his parents tell him he has to earn it because it's a big responsibility for someone as young as he is. so, he sets up a piggy bank to save up for adoption fees. he doesn't tell his parents about it because he wants to show them when he's saved up enough money.

surely if he has the money that means he's responsible enough right?

in the following months, omi sets aside a fraction of his daily allowance to put into his piggy bank.

it's slow-going until his siblings find the piggy bank labeled with "dog savings" in omi's messy scrawl. they're so charmed by their baby brother's antics that they slip in their own spare change behind omi's back.

they never tell him of course because knowing their brother —their sweet and earnest little brother — he would want to do this on his own.

by the time omi's 10th birthday comes, his piggy bank is practically bursting at the seams. he holds it tightly in his little hands as his family sings him a happy birthday.

when it's time to blow out the candles and he has to make a wish, he lifts up the piggy bank and tells his parents how he's been saving up the past few months. that he has enough to pay for the adoption fees. that he's 10, and he's a big boy now, ready for big boy responsibilities.

"i'm responsible enough for a dog now, right?" he would then ask, eyes bright with earnest hope he tries so hard to tamp down just in case they say no. his parents would exchange surprised looks followed immediately by shaking heads and laughter. lots of laughter. omi is rightfully confused. he frowns.

are they laughing at him? the thought makes him flush in embarrassment. his dad leaves the room, still laughing. when he comes back, it's with a box that's almost a little too big for omi. the birthday cake lays forgotten, candles melted, as omi looks curiously at the box in front of him, then to his parents, and then his siblings, and then back to the box.

his older brother nudges him to open it and when he does, omi doesn't know what to do with himself. the akita puppy yipping at him in the box was too much for 10-year-old omi to bear that he starts bawling.

he's hugging the puppy to hide his tears, and in the background he hears cooing and more birthday wishes from his family.

see, his parents had always intended to give omi a dog the moment he asked. omi rarely asked for anything so whenever he did, his parents were always more than ready and excited to give it to him. however, this time, they waited until his birthday because, admittedly, they had a hard time thinking of what to get him.

it seems they made the right decision watching their son pet the akita in quiet awe. they're happy that their little boy loved his birthday present but when they see his dejected little pout a little while later followed by a sad, "i saved for nothing then..." they knew they had to make right with him (not really but what is omi if not their precious youngest).

and that's how omi ends up with not one but two puppies for his 10th birthday.

i wasn't planning on giving them similar sailor-style uniforms but actually i like it now that i look at it. polar opposite girlfriends

aoi is the ultimate sukeban (female gangster). she started up to defend her younger brother from some bullies and ended up leading multiple gangs through sheer charisma

she prefers intimidation over violence, hence the kendo sword that she never got proper training on how to use (she mostly carries it around for dramatic effect)

is a little devious. will not hesitate to frame, injure, or throw someone under a bus if she thinks they've wronged her or someone she cares about

sakura is the ultimate moral compass, in this au her longtime friend kenshiro entrusted her with 'strongest human alive' but also with a message to uphold peace with that strength

she maintains a calm demeanor to seem more approachable to people. as a result, a lot of people trust her

is very careful of how she uses her strength. avoids fights whenever possible

Improvement Hell Day Three: Draw A Figure In Action

for this day i decided to draw Usagi with this reference from Pinterest! i wouldn't say im super happy with how this came out, but its still cute. i think im trying to figure out how to draw the sailor moon cast more freely/out of the constraints of my rewrite!

Did my first 5k and came in almost 3 minutes under my practice time! Really helps to be running in a crowd because I don’t want to get passed too much lol

There was a thunderstorm during the WORST part of it though, huge uphill climb before the halfway point. Lady was offering cups of water that were just filling with rain 😭

BUT I DID IT!!!! Very satisfying very fun
